In this 3h workshop, you can practice your R & tidyverse skills. These workshops are meant for researchers that would like to find a “moment” every month to practice their R skills, focusing on how to summarize and arrange data to make meaningful charts with ggplot2, tidyr, dplyr, and other tools in the tidyverse ecosystem.
This is part of a series of workshops that are organized (almost) every month. In each workshop, a specific set of functions from one of the tidyverse packages will be presented.
In the workshop organized on February 18th, we are going to discuss how to join data with dplyr .
•What are we going to do during the workshops?
After an overview of the joining functions from dplyr (around 1h/1.5h), you can choose to work on your own data or to use the datasets provided in the TidyTuesday projects – there are more than 140 datasets available! If you choose the latter, several examples of codes will be showed to you as inspiration.
DATE & TIME:
February 18th, 2020 – ONLINE
13:30 – 16:30
This workshops are NOT introductory courses to R and Tidyverse. This means that you MUST already know how to code in R and know you way around Tidyverse ecosystem.
